Marcus will help you get more from your workout with daily training notes to give you a focus for the day. Need a high five for motivation, or wonder if you’re doing it right? Warmups, cool downs, mobility, & more

Being an athlete is so much more than what you do in your 60-minute workout. Persist will nurture your body before, during, and after training. What Do I Need for the Full Equipment Workouts?

The full equipment track uses everything in the low equipment track (below) with the addition of barbells and plates. Essentially what you’d find in a typical functional fitness gym.

There are bodyweight only alternatives for every movement in the low equipment workouts, but if you wish to stock up on a few things here is the equipment we’ll be using. Prices may fluctuate but will give you a ballpark.

What happens when I sign up?

Once you register for the program, we will set you up with an account for TrueCoach, our workout delivery platform.

This can take up to 24 hours or so, but you’ll get access to a Welcome Workout right away to get acquainted with the program.

You will see three workouts each day for each of the tracks, and within each workout you’ll see demo videos for each move and places to write notes for yourself, as well as contact athlete support. You can also upload photos or videos. (If you’re getting missed workout notifications you can turn these off in your TrueCoach settings.)

We have a Knowledge Base with answers to the most common questions, so you can get started as seamlessly as possible – or reach out to athlete support through TrueCoach if you need any further support with your workouts.

How do I cancel?

You will not be charged for the program for the first two weeks, and your billing date will be monthly thereafter. If you need to cancel or pause your subscription, you can do so any time at the My Account page of our website. Our support team is also ready to help if you have any issues whatsoever.

How is this different from your other programs?

Most of our other programs are limited cycles, and end after 8-12 weeks. Persist is an ongoing subscription, so you’ll never run out of Functional Bodybuilding training. The program runs in six-week builds, so you’ll progress your strength and conditioning, then move into a new training design to work on different skills. We will continually be exploring new Functional Bodybuilding concepts, including Olympic lifting, structural balance, hypertrophy, mobility, conditioning work, aesthetics-focused training, and more.

What level of athlete is this for?

If you are able to follow a written workout and feel confident following a video demonstration, Persist is for you! At the beginning of the program, you’ll be introduced to concepts like supersets and tempo resistance training. It may take a week or two to get the hang of it, but we’re here to support you with any questions or provide scaling options if you need them. Advanced athletes will also find satisfaction with a huge variety of movements and challenges.
