September 24th – Recovery

6:10am – Woke up to my Rise and Shine alarm clock. This alarm clock has a cool light bulb feature. Over the course of 10mins the light gets brighter and brighter before the alarm sound or radio goes off. I usually always wake up before the music starts playing. But every once in a while I will sleep right through the light bulb and wake up to the music. Today was one of those days. Must have been sleeping deeply.

6:30-7:15am – Cooking and prep for the day. Had my coffee and shake and then prepared roasted cauliflower, chopped lettuce, made a fritata, and packed up 3 solid meals before leaving.

7:30am – Client session. A great reminder that work related stress can stand in the way of you reaching your goals. No matter how much you want to make better choices in your life, if the work place is draining you then it can be hard to find the motivation to be healthy.
